Our ancestors lived on the move.
And while we may not be packing up camp every couple days across the African Savannah any more, movement is still in our DNA. And remote work facilitates that movement. Whether it’s going for a run on your lunch break, heading to the climbing gym after work or hitting Dawn Patrol in the early morning hours - remote work allows us to live and create the lives we want to live.
We make quality gear built for the specific needs of remote workers - whether they’re a hybrid worker, fully remote or location independent.
Pursuing A Fulfilling Life Outside Of Work
Having the freedom to choose your location means the freedom to geographically locate yourself near your favorite things to do. Whether that’s climbing, surfing, skiing, mountain biking, jiu jitsu, swimming, hiking, hockey, running, yoga, rowing, or - if you’re under 30 years of age and don’t know what multi-day hangovers feel like yet - even partying.
We believe self-actualization does not come solely from the office. We have to define ourselves and our lives outside the office, and remote work allows us to set ourselves up geographically to do so. And we believe in pushing ourselves past the post-work “I just wanna chilllll maaaaaaan” phase and into the “we’re gonna get some” phase.
We’re not saying ditch everything and move to Bali (but if you do, please tease the life coaches for us). We’re not saying work is evil, and we’re not saying in-office work is evil. What we’re saying is - if you work remotely and are pushing yourself to develop personally and professionally - we’re right there with ya.
Good Business
Kinda feels like we’re getting squeezed, ya know? Between PE firms and public companies, everyone’s gotta grow every year more and more. What’s the end state of that look like? American Airlines also eventually makes Cheerios and Blackrock brews beer?
Made For Sapiens aims to be a tool that can leverage capitalism to improve the world through targeted donations that are force-multipliers. We’ve selected digital education for this cause, and addressing the Digital Divide here in the US. That means we’re donating to organizations that are providing education and tools to individuals that lack access or skills to live their lives online.
So we donate 9% of profits from every sale we make to Our Partners, to help them fight the good fight and bring more of our nation into the digital age.
